Founded in Hong Kong and designed in Shenzhen, in the heart of the Greater Bay Area in China, by French hardware serial entrepreneur Laurent Le Pen, Oxtak sits at the intersection of two worlds he knows intimately: the relentless speed and manufacturing excellence of China's 'Silicon Valley', and a design sensibility shaped by French emotion and Japanese functional minimalism.
After two decades building wearable technology, including the pioneering Omate smartwatches and oral care awarded brand Oclean, Laurent set out to create something different — a device with character and quiet strength, engineered for people who value both performance and sovereignty over their own words.
As part of the first cohort of the Hong Kong Shenzhen Innovation Technology Park (HSITP), Oxtak's first product (internally codenamed Moneypenny) is a distraction-free desk companion, yet mobile device, that acts as your best colleague in every meeting. It records, translates across 100 languages, and delivers precise AI summaries while keeping every byte of your data under your control. An Enterprise edition allows fully local server deployment for organizations that refuse to outsource their conversations.
